In Russell Helms's FADE, Michael passes up an opportunity to date a younger woman, Anna, only to find that she has committed suicide. In his dismay, he determines to find out what it would have been like to date her. Although improbable, through sheer will and desire he coaxes and courts Anna back into being, terrifying her parents and setting into motion the impossible.
